Sunday Special - Treasure

Most of us probably has this dream to be a pirate, especially after watching Johnny Depp’s role in Pirates of the Caribbean. Sailing round the world seeking for that lost coin.

People 2012 (17) - Flower Girl

You can never be too old to be a flower girl. Just see how happy the auntie is smiling.

“You may chisel a boy into shape, as you would a rock, or hammer him into it, if he be of a better kind, as you would a piece of bronze. But you cannot hammer a girl into anything. She grows as a flower does.” John Ruskin

Fashion Show

This is the first time I did a fashion shoot. Read a few tips saying one of the best lens to use is 70-300mm teleport lens and flash is essential as the catwalk stage is usually quite lit up and the surrounding might be dark.

I used my faithful D90 with kit lens 18-105mm and in-built flash.

The stage, taken with no flash, just for try.

Took another shot with flash when the host was on stage.

Oh, and one good tip for fashion show shoot is to make full use of the moment when the models are posing for the cameras. This is probably the only good chance to catch them stationery.

People 2012 (16) - Gate Keeper

Not sure is he frustrated with the heat or with me? But I have a feeling he has been sitting there for many years faithfully.

Sunday Special - The Moon

Though it’s so small and partly hidden, but we know for sure that it’s up there.

Some things are small and insignificant, but there are always there, loyal and dependable.

People 2012 (15) - Croc Lady

She is one of the bravest lady I have met so far. She stares into the eyes of the largest Croc (6-metre) along the Adelaide River, lures them with meat and sees them leap out of the water 5-6 metres high. And when the crocs finally catches the bait, she has to stay cool and strong to pull the rod free. Power!

Sunday Special - Jackfruit

You can smell a jackfruit from a 100m away. Some people likes the smell, some hates it. But the truth remains that scent attracts.

So do we smell nice or bad? Do we attract people nearer or repelling them further?
