Every child grows up loving Lego. It has been around since the 1940s. I still remember how I long to have a set of Lego bricks when I was young.
Lego is my childhood need. Starbucks is my current want.

Inspired by MckMama’s blog entry, I’ve decided to try photographing our Christmas tree.
I used my 50mm lenses and set my aperture to 1.8.
ISO setting was 3200.
1/200th of a second
1/125th of a second
1/80th of a second
1/60th of a second
1/40th of a second
1/20th of a second
1/15th of a second
1/10th of a second
1/4th of a second
Which photo do you think is the best?
Personally I think 1/15th of a second is my favourite.
Don’t only focus on where you are heading towards, take time to evaluate the journey while getting there. The journey gives us the purpose of our walk.
Initially I just wanted to take a photo of my girl’s sleeping pose. It turned out to be a chance to play around with white balance. Photos are taken in my living room around 2pm.
WB – Auto
WB – Fluorescent
WB – Incandescent / Tungsten
WB – Sunlight
WB – Shade
Verdict – my girl looks cute in all light settings.. =)
Last weekend, I attended a food photography session with ieatishootipost, hosted by Canon Imaging Academy. The venue was The Disgruntled Chef at Dempsey Road. It was my first time to the restaurant and it was a cosy nice place for a quiet meal.
Anyway, here are my food photos for that day.
Rows of squares and lines. We hardly notice the simple beauty of the things around us. A friend recently commented, if ever any tourist wants to understand Singapore, we should bring them to visit the uniquely SIngapore – HDB.
Learnt a few tips from ieatishootipost recently. This is my first try.
Seafood Paella
Meatball Pizza
Love how she holds the water in her mouth and with a serious look like considering to swallow or spit it out.
Super close up photo. Children are the most real photo subjects, when they are confortable with you, the personality is for real.
Love the bokeh in this photo, brought out the cheekiness on her face. Now you know why the girls are so cute too.
It’s always a feel-good thing to see sisters so close and enjoying each other’s company.
With all the flooding in Bangkok and Vietnam, is rain still as welcome?
Rain always brings a certain down mood. Yet it is so crucial for eco balance.
Life is a balance of ups and downs.
I don’t know how big is the screen, but I’m sure it’s the biggest screen I have watched my favourite Liverpool team.
Too bad the result ended as 1-1 draw for LFC v ManU.
But the fellowship between friends is priceless! We choose love!
The queue started 30mins before the game. Power!
ManU or Liverpool, we are friends first.
Walk on! Walk on!
As a photographer, I realised we hardly take our own photos. So it’s nice to see myself occasionally.
